Wema Sepetu Hosts Gathering to Mourn Beloved Dog Manunu

Former Miss Tanzania and actress Wema Sepetu recently held an emotional gathering at her home to mourn the death of her dog, Manunu. The dog had fallen ill and undergone surgery, but complications during a second operation due to an infection led to its death. Tanzanian celebrities, including Petit Man Wakuache and associates of Diamond Platnumz, attended the sombre event, sitting on the floor with Manunu’s photo placed at the centre. The gathering, which displayed Wema’s deep affection for her pet, sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans praised her compassion for animals, while others questioned the intensity of the mourning. Manunu had become well-known through Wema’s social media posts, where she often shared pictures and videos showing the close bond she had with her dog. Wema’s devotion to her pets has been consistent, as seen in her previous efforts to find another dog, Nunu, which went missing in 2021. Overall, the event highlighted Wema’s love for animals and how this resonates with both her fans and fellow celebrities.
