Actor Tyrese Gibson faces arrest after dogs kill neighbor’s dog in Atlanta

Tyrese Gibson, known for his roles in the ‘Fast and Furious’ and ‘Transformers’ films, faces a warrant for his arrest following an incident in which his dogs killed a neighbor’s dog in Atlanta. The Fulton County warrant, issued on September 22, 2025, cites animal cruelty. On September 18, Gibson’s four cane corso dogs reportedly attacked and killed a 5-year-old cavalier King Charles spaniel named Henry. Security footage confirmed the dogs were running through the neighborhood. Earlier that evening, animal control responded to a separate complaint about the dogs being loose. Gibson had previously received warnings about his dogs being out of control and owning more than ten dogs without a special permit. Despite police visits, Gibson refused to surrender the animals, admitting he believed his dogs were responsible for Henry’s death. In response, Gibson expressed shock and deep sorrow on Instagram, emphasizing that his dogs were never trained to harm and describing the incident as devastating. His attorney stated that Gibson has rehomed some of the dogs and accepts full responsibility, acknowledging the severity of the situation while expressing hope for the family’s forgiveness.
