Florida Dog Leads Deputy to Locate Missing 86-Year-Old Woman

In Okaloosa County, Florida, a sheriff’s deputy was able to find an 86-year-old woman who had gone missing after a fall during a walk, thanks to the help of a dog named Eeyore. Bodycam footage shows the deputy responding to a call from the woman’s concerned husband. Upon spotting Eeyore on a street, the deputy followed the dog who led directly to the elderly woman. When found, the woman expresses affection towards Eeyore, calling him a good boy and saying ‘Grandma loves you.’ This event highlights the valuable role pets can play in search and rescue situations, especially for vulnerable individuals such as the elderly.
